The design of wine goblets is constantly evolving in different ways. RONA has added the PICCOLO series on a short stem, which was missing from the range of machine-made chalices. The short stem offers several advantages:

• Greater stability. It is more difficult to tip over a cup with a short stem. The center of gravity is lower, making them less prone to tipping over.
• Easier to hold. Wine lovers can feel more secure with a short stemmed glass.
• Easier care. Long-stemmed glasses don’t always fit easily in the dishwasher (if they fit at all!) and the longer and thinner the stem, the more fragile the glass.
